Post by Digital Warlock »

Week of 3/15/25
Hello all to the new weekly newsletter, Digital Warlock's Wicked Scroll. This first edition is sure to delight, and hopefully entice all to speak well of the mighty warlock!

Weekly Trivia
Did you know? Coffee and tea can improve your eyesight, but only if you look really hard at it before drinking.

Art of the week

Animal of the week
This week we will be shouting out the Snowy Egret. I simply think the name is quite funny.

Sports of the week
March Madness has started, I think, and that means that college basketball is the name of the game. While I do not know anything about this, a hearty well wishes is shared with all of you who have bets riding on the score of Drake University.

Discussion question of the week
You're only allowed to eat one food for the rest of your days. It can be in any variety, and ordered from any location that serves the food, but only that one specific meal. What would you choose?

hmm, does the coffee and tea eyesight trick work for lemonade too? i just find that a lot more palatable, honestly.

you know, i think Cranston from animal crossing is based on the snowy egret! never put that together until just now, thanks DW.

as for my singular food... geez, it's a hard choice. i'm really not a big foodie, so i don't have many options that i'd particularly like... that being said, one of my absolute favorite meals is a family recipe for Tuna Casserole. it has almost every food group in it, grain with the noodles, dairy with the cheese, veggies with the peas + carrots, and protein with the tuna itself. only thing it's missing is the fruits, but i don't think that's that big of a deal considering it still has veggies. if i ever get tired of it, i guess i could just pick out the specific parts i'm not tired of and eat those by themselves. i hear people say pizza as an answer to this pretty often, but i feel like that HAS to mess with your digestive system to some degree, what with all the tomato sauce and bread. hmm... thinking about it now, maybe chicken tortilla soup would be a better choice, since that has everything but a dairy product, and might be easier to digest than eating noodles all the time.
